Big Cottonwood Canyon

When I was looking through these submission photos, I got after my husband for having never taken me up this particular Canyon, just to hear him tell me that he had but that it was just snowy when we went so it looked completely different. Whoops! Ha ha, I guess I need to make it up this canyon in the summer too.

These gorgeous photos are a submission from Roxanna Scow. Thanks Roxanna! She said they were taken in 2013.
This is the Canyon that starts at Cottonwood Heights and heads up to case you aren't familiar with the area. Cottonwood Heights is in the Salt Lake Valley. If you do decide to make the trip, at the mouth of the Canyon make sure to stop by The Porcupine Pub and Grill, the food is really good! (No, I'm not getting paid to tell you that) They have a spicy chicken soup that is divine and a really fun signature dessert that looks like a porcupine!  I don't remember exactly what either are called on the menu though. Anyway, enough of that. Get out there and get exploring! ~Sarah
